El Paso Corporation (El Paso) is an energy company. The Company primarily operates in the natural gas transmission and exploration and production sectors of the energy industry. Of the 1,918 billion cubic feet of natural gas equivalents of PUD reserves at December 31, 2011, it has 49 billion cubic feet of natural gas equivalents of undeveloped reserves. During 2011, it sold Powder River Basin in Wyoming, and oil and natural gas properties located in the Frio county. On May 25, 2012, Kinder Morgan Inc acquired El Paso.
